About Us
Our Vision
Educational experience in Arabic language, various fields of Islamic knowledge, and Islamic Laws (Hawza Studies)
The institution caters for both levels of students, the young (madrassa level) and the adult (post madrassa), in three distinct educational opportunities. The Master (s) Academy for Children is a platform which nurtures piety in little hearts through the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Ahlul Bayt (a). Master (s) Academy for Adults provides necessary analytical skills, allowing the youth and adults to study the context of Islamic knowledge critically. A similar method will be implemented for those who desire specialisation in Islamic law (Al-Qaem Hawza Education). The Master (s) Arabic program for young and adults will give the participants the necessary skills to communicate in classical Arabic besides understanding the Islamic texts.
The lessons and lectures will be given in English; however, other mediums can be offered, such as Arabic, Swedish, and Urdu, depending on demand and the availability of the teachers.
The mode of education will be in the form of live and recorded lectures, discussion seminars, and interactive activities that would strengthen the student’s understanding of the subject.
All courses, except the Master (s) Academy Arabic language course, are offered without any tuition fee. The fees allocated to the courses are suggested donations that students may voluntarily pay to help the institute develop further.
Our Visionary
Al-Moula or The Master (s) Academy works in coordination with the office of Grand Shi’i Jurist, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani (dz), who emphasises the importance of gaining knowledge in his statement:
"...........Have a spirit of learning and an interest in increasing your knowledge and wisdom in all stages of your life and in all conditions. ......Never neglect supplying yourself with more knowledge and experience until the last day of your life. The more knowledgeable a person is, the more trials and errors he will avoid." God, the Glorified, says in Quran, “And he who is given wisdom, is certainly given an abundant good” (2:269), and He says to His Prophet, may God’s blessings be upon him and his progeny, “And say, ‘My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.’” (20:114)
